FIELD ASSESSMENT D4 ACCOUNTING FE UNY VIRTUALLY

The Faculty of Economics (FE) of UNY once again received a field assessment visit from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). The D4 Accounting Study Program, which graduated from an Applied Bachelor in Accounting, received a virtual visit from two assessors from BAN-PT, namely Dr. Endang Sri Andayani, S.E., M.Sc., Ak. from Malang State University and Iyeh Supriatna, S.E., M.Sc., Ak. from Bandung State Polytechnic. This visit was carried out for two days, last Wednesday-Thursday (28-29/6) and was received by the FE dean, coordinators and sub-coordinators, Head of the Accounting Education Department Ani Widayati, M.Pd., Ed.D., Adeng D4 Accounting Study Program Coordinator Pustikaningsih, M.Sc., as well as the support team from the Taskforce Team and the FE UNY Quality Assurance Unit.

The event which was opened by the Chancellor of UNY, Prof. Dr. Sumaryanto, M.Kes. It was also attended by representatives of lecturers, staff, and students virtually.

Endang said that the D4 study program is still new, but many positive things have been found. "This is good capital to quickly spur the D4 Accounting study program into a calculated study program. We see many advantages but also disadvantages," he explained.

"Prodi is not a unit like a faculty. Faculties have human resources, infrastructure. Therefore, development in study programs is the responsibility of the faculty. The task of study programs is only in education," added Eny.

Dean of FE UNY Dr. Siswanto, M.Pd. expressed his appreciation to the assessors for the various inputs and corrections. "In the midst of the development of this study program, of course we need various inputs. This Field Assessment is a positive energy for managers of the D4 Accounting study program in particular and faculty leaders in general to continue to improve the quality in every aspect of the assessment," he impressed.
